He said the overriding objective of inaugurating SkyeXperience was to simplify service delivery and personalise the customer experience.

“SkyeXperience is today Nigeria’s most advanced digital financial solution that will make banking hassle-free and provide exciting lifestyle for both the young and the old”, Abiru said.

Mr Mohammed Ahmad, the bank’s Chairman, said the inauguration of SkyeXperience was the bank’s own modest contribution toward the economic development of Nigeria, especially in the area of financial technology and digital revolution.

Ahmad said that the bank had always taken the lead in terms of digital offering in the financial service space.

He stated that the inauguration was a response to the needs and expectations of the customers, especially the digital natives who were either caught up or born with technology.

“By the unveiling of this new service platform called SkyeXPerience, we are offering you a smarter way to bank and a more convenient way to live,” said Ahmad.

He also commended the Federal Government’s policy on digital revolution which seeks to achieve 30 per cent broadband penetration by 2018.

Ahmad said that SkyeXperience would encourage more Nigerians to embrace the use of technological solutions to attain a more convenient and quality living, irrespective of their social status.
